Dress code

We don't have a specific dress code for the wedding, but of course, we think it would be fun if you take the opportunity to dress up a little (or a lot) extra!

For guests planning to wear heels, we recommend bringing a pair of sandals or other extra shoes, as the area around Strandvillan is, as the name suggests, a sandy beach environment.

Don't forget to bring an umbrella or a rain jacket in case the weather doesn't cooperate.

Gifts

We’ve received a few questions about whether we have any specific wishes for wedding gifts—we don’t! If you want to give us something personal, we’d be very happy, otherwise, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon. Above all, we’re just happy that you’ll be joining us to celebrate!

The accommodation

Everyone who requested accommodation at Strandvillan has been assigned a bed. We kindly ask you to bring your own sheets. If you are unable to do so, please contact us as soon as possible, and at least one week in advance, and we will arrange it for a small fee.

We have prioritized assigning families their own rooms, while other guests will be sharing. Those who share will do so with guests they already know. We are not charging for the accommodation.

Karaoke!

There will be karaoke during the evening! So warm up your vocal cords and think about which songs you want to play.

If you want to come the day before

For guests traveling from far away, outside the borders of Skåne, it is okay to check in the day before. We will be busy with preparations, so in that case, we ask that you leave your bags in your rooms and take some time to explore Åhus, relax on the beach, or find something else enjoyable to do. Many who arrive early have assigned tasks—those who know, know!
